Frankie Ballard's Wife Christina Shows Off Growing Baby Bump At CMA Awards

Frankie Ballard and his wife of two years, Christina, recently announced they are expecting their first child. The couple made their first public appearance since the breaking the news on Wednesday (November 13) at the CMA Awards.

"I'm so thrilled to be on this red carpet in the first place, but to have our growing little family is a dream come true," Ballard told People. "This is our first baby in here. We've been excited to become parents for a long time and to see this bump popping out on the carpet is blowing my mind."

The couple previously shared that they decided to wait to find out the sex of the baby. "The mystery is still intact," the singer says about their child's sex. However, in the meantime, he and his wife are working on both boy and girl names.

“I’m Frank Robert Ballard IV, so if it’s a boy, Chrissy has agreed and is thrilled to name him Frank V. We will have a little cinco!” Ballard said. “If it’s a girl, I’ll be just as thrilled because either way, my heart is going to be bursting at the seams."

The country singer took to Instagram to share a photo of the couple stunning at the CMA Awards. "🌟My Babies!!!🌟at the #cmaawards," he wrote along with the picture.

Christina also posted a photo from the evening to her page of her husband kissing her on the cheek with a hand on her growing baby belly. "Nothing makes me more proud than to be by this mans side...baby’s first red carpet @katiekauss #CMAawards @cma," she writes in the caption.

The baby will be here soon and Ballard is doing what he can in the meantime to prepare for his new journey into parenthood. "You take what you learn from your parents, but some of those techniques may not work perfectly for you," he says. "Becoming a parent is something you have to make your own.”
